I’m watching the news coverage of the 75th anniversary of D-Day. The world has come together in Normandy. It really is something to see. World leaders paying tribute to those World War Two veterans. Those brave soldiers. We lost so many that day. Those that survived came home heroes. My dad was a World War Two veteran. He didn’t talk about it much. In fact, we had a hard time finding a photo of him in uniform. I miss him a lot. He was my hero. I wish he was here today to see all this.
