The headline from Axios: “Astronomers capture first image of black hole at center of Milky Way.”
Why it matters. Axios says, “this historic breakthrough offers an unprecedented look at the extreme object driving the evolution of our galaxy and could yield new clues about the physics governing the universe.”
Astronomers really have imaged the Sagittarius Black Hole with the Event Horizon Telescope.
Again, I’m no astrophysicist, but this is a big deal. Star Trek and lunch… next.
