I took a breather from blogging. Just needed a break. I found out one thing… I missed it. Missed putting thoughts on paper. Well, missed putting thoughts on whatever this is that I’m typing on. So, I’m back at it.

A lot has happened since last we met. A lot hasn’t changed either.

So, here we are and here we go.

The pandemic has waned. The supply chain has worsened.

The Covid pandemic. Good news. Things are better. As for the vaccination effort, I’ve decided that this might be as good as it gets. If you want to be vaccinated, you have done it already. If you don’t, you’re not. And that’s it.

Aaron Rogers. “Immunized.” Uh? Now, he’s in damage control. Short of an apology, the Green Bay Packers quarterback said on The Pat McAfee show that he takes full responsibility for his comments last week about Covid and his vaccination status.

“I made some comments that people might have felt were misleading. And to anybody who felt misled by those comments, I take full responsibility for those comments.”

ESPN is reporting that the NFL has fined the Packers and Rogers for breaking Covid protocols. We will see where all this goes from here.

Now, to the supply chain. For weeks now, we’ve been told it’s broken. From Gatorade bottle tops to toys. Christmas in July could take on new meaning. It could be July before your gifts arrive.

Thanksgiving will cost more this year too. Fox News is reporting that turkeys, cranberry sauce, yams, sweet potatoes and even pies will cost more.

President Biden has acknowledged the issue saying, “I know the cost of gas, groceries and rent seems to be harder and harder to handle.”

Nobody wants to work either. I just don’t get it. I can’t do that. Can’t not work. Can’t afford it.

Our post pandemic world is not easy. The economy is struggling to keep up. I guess I had hoped that “normal” would return quickly. Clearly, it’s not happening.

That’s where I am. Glad to be writing again. Thanks for reading.
